GIARDINO DI ALI’ – Crotone, 2024

94 trees for the 94 confirmed dead, in Via Miscello da Ripe, at the entrance to the city. Ali is the name of the youngest victim, buried in the cemetery in Crotone.

IL GIOCO DELL’UMANITA’ – Crotone, 2024

The work, installed in front of the entrance to the Palamilone, consists of a bell game.
To symbolise the memory of the children who died in the tragedy, a pair of slippers is placed at the beginning of the game (on square number 1).

Metal on wood work of the ‘Summer Love’ craft. The installation is located in the City hall of Crotone.

NAUFRAGIO DI SPERANZA- Crotone, 2023

Iron installation, placed in front of the entrance to the Crotone Cemetery where little Ali is buried, representing a boat with people holding a cloud from bow to stern where the word ‘peace’ is engraved.

GLASS HOUSE – Cutro, 2024

Installation inside a glass case where some remains of the boat Summer Love and objects found on the beach are arranged: pyjamas, shoes, baby bottles, a backpack.
Inside the shrine there is a screen showing a video “Summer Love” with the story of Motjaba Rezapourmoghaddam, one of the survivors of the shipwreck.

PER NON DIMENTICARE – Cutro, 2024

Inside the Glass house shrine there is the work ‘Per non dimenticare’ by Antonio La Gamba, which depicts a boy wrapped in a gold thermal blanket, stretching out his hands for help, before being swallowed by the waves.
